Extentia invited the cast of the Marathi movie ‘Barayan’ on December 28. The director, producer, and star cast, Anurag Worlikar, Nandu Madhav, Sanjay Mone and the child artist, Swarangini were present for the discussion. It was an interactive session with rousing questions and answers from Extentians and the cast. The story revolves around a clueless teenager who is going to appear for his twelfth board exams and is harassed by everyone around him with their various career options for him.
The movie was shot at Konkan in 36 days. The message conveyed is that parents should not force their career choices upon children when they are not interested in certain fields. It also tries to emphasize the undue importance given to the twelfth examination and its effect on students and their family members. As all of us have experienced this pressure at some point in our lives, we can easily relate to the movie.
